Had lunch at Aahaar 25 in Matthews We tried the idly vada combo, unlimited aritaaku bhojanam, filter coffee, and ginger chai. The place has a proper vegetarian, authentic Kannada-style feel. The aritaaku bhojanam was delicious and felt very homely, with unlimited refills. Loved the rasam, sambar, masala buttermilk, and curd rice. Everything tasted simple, fresh, and comforting. The idly vada combo was also really good. Special mention to the medhu vada — crispy, flavorful, and very authentic. The ginger chai had a really nice flavor, and the filter coffee was good too. Overall, a simple and satisfying South Indian meal. Definitely a worth trying!

I had a very enjoyable meal at Aahar25 Indian Restaurant recently and would genuinely recommend it to anyone craving Indian food in the South Charlotte area. The highlight was definitely their unlimited thali — such a great concept and excellent value. The food overall was really good, with hot, fresh dishes served right from the kitchen. Some recipes were standout delicious (rich, flavorful, and authentic-tasting), while a couple of items were just alright. Still, the majority were very tasty and satisfied my Indian food cravings. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained. The only small downside was that the servers seemed a bit rushed while serving, which made the experience feel slightly hurried. But it didn’t take away from the quality of the food. If you’re looking for solid Indian cuisine with the option of unlimited thali, this is a great spot. I’ll definitely be going back. Highly recommended!

After years of chasing authentic South Indian food in Charlotte, Aahar25 has quietly become my go-to. The flavours here are bold and unapologetically genuine — the kind that make you realise how much most places are pulling their punches. The ghee-laden dosas, uttapam, sambar vada, and filter coffee all deliver, every single time. I've been back multiple times and it has not missed once. What I appreciate as much as the food is the restraint of the menu. Limited, focused, confident — none of the sprawling pages that signal a kitchen trying to please everyone and nailing nothing. This kitchen knows exactly what it's doing and stays in its lane. The thali is next on my list, and based on everything else here, expectations are high. If you haven't found your South Indian spot in Charlotte yet, this is it.

Visiting this establishment again after six months, and the food is still fantastic. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and true to the regions the dishes are inspired by. I had the unlimited daily thali, with curries beautifully served on a banana leaf—authentic and delicious. The chai and filter coffee were hot, rich, and satisfying. Easily one of the best Indian vegetarian restaurants in Charlotte.

Delicious banana leaf meal. Truly felt like home. Amazing service, Thoroughly enjoyed. Must try. Menu included hot semaiya payasam, pineapple pickle, poori kurma, bisebalbath, white rice, sambhar, rasam, curd, potato curries, papad, keerai kootu etc . Nostalgic ✨
